REGULATIONS AND JURISDICTIONS
Since the state of New Hampshire does not have an approved state OSHA program, worker safety regulations are regulated under the guidance of the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Under the General Duty Clause of the OSH Act, all employers, no matter what size, are required, by law, to provide a safe and healthy environment for their workers.
OSHA Training in Manchester NH follows New Hampshire law that went into effect in 2007. All on-site employees working on publicly funded (including state, or local municipality) projects of $100,000 or more, must complete the OSHA 10 Hour Construction course prior to beginning work. An employee who has not completed the program shall be subject to removal from the work site after 15 days of being found to be non-compliant. The New Hampshire law provides for penalties to the employer of up to $2,500 and a civil penalty of $100 per employee for each day of noncompliance.
Further regulations are enumerated in CFR Part 29 which document extensive requirements for prevention, documentation and management of safety and health risks. These include the following sections:

29 CFR 1904 – OSHA Injury and Illness record keeping requirements
