OSHA Safety Training For All Michigan Industries Statewide

Michigan is the only state in the U.S. that consists of two peninsulas. The lower, mitten-shaped peninsula was the origin of the state’s name, deriving from a French derivative meaning “large lake”. It is surrounded by three of the Great Lakes, Michigan, Huron and Erie. The Upper Peninsula, or UP as it is commonly called, also touches three lakes, Superior, Michigan and Huron. While Michigan has a diverse economy, it is largely considered to the home to the U.S. automotive industry, with the three largest companies located in Detroit Metropolitan area. However, the state also has substantial economic output in areas such as food products, information technology, aerospace, military equipment, furniture, and mining of copper and iron ore.

Michigan administers its own health and safety program with the help of OSHA which helps by providing monitoring and funding. The Michigan State Plan is registered with OSHA, and its regulations are key to the overall management.  The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MiOSHA) is responsible for overall requirements. You can view the OSHA State Plan for  Michigan here. Michigan OSHA Safety Training programs include the requirements to be compliant with all OSHA guidelines and regulations.  Courses that we provide are Nationally-Accepted in all 50 states, including Michigan.
